Last night K’s sister got engaged to her partner. They are the perfect couple and we are so happy for them. The outpouring of happiness for them is so wonderful, but it does make you think about the fact we can’t get married, that we can’t have that same excitement that goes along with getting married, that we can’t be told “welcome to the family’ from our in-laws!
